Davidar to take over as Tamil Nadu IT Secretary
Chennai: PWC Davidar, a 1986 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, has been appointed as state IT Secretary of the southern Indian state. He will replace C Chandramouli, who will take over as state Planing and Development secretary.
Prior to this, Davidar was the Project Director in the Health and Family Welfare Department from November 11, 2006.
A post graduate in Public administration, he held various significant positions in the state government including Commissioner of Home Rehabilitation and Member Secretary of state Sports Authority.
Chandramaouli, a 1985 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, has held various posts including Secretary of Personnel and Administrative and Reforms Department, Director (Census Operations) in the Ministry of Home Affairs and state Energy and Power Director.
